A song about friendship. I read once that friends are family you choose. In my case I was mostly on my own thinking not be able having friends because of being totally different than anyone you´ll ever meet. Last but not least there´ll always be music - that´s my home my safe-space my remedy.

The Dark - Die Nacht hat kein Ende mehr. Ein Kurzfilm von Rob Bevilacqua.In den verlassenen Überresten einer zerfallenen Welt, wo das letzte Licht der Zivilisation längst erloschen ist, erwacht etwas Altes, Hungriges. Schatten bewegen sich nicht zufällig. Geräusche kriechen durch die Dunkelheit, die tiefer ist als bloße Abwesenheit von Licht. In dieser dystopischen Zukunft muss ein einsamer Mensch seiner tiefsten, ursprünglichsten Angst gegenübertreten – der Dunkelheit selbst.„The Dark“ ist ein intensiver, hoch atmosphärischer Horror-Kurzfilm, der die Grenzen zwischen Realität und Albtraum verschwimmen lässt. Mit minimalem Dialog und maximaler visueller und akustischer Spannung entsteht ein bedrückendes Erlebnis, das unter die Haut geht.Für mich als Künstler, der seit Jahren vor allem mit Musik und Musikvideos arbeitet, war der Film schon immer ein großer, paralleler Teil meines Weges. Ob 2D- und 3D-Animation, ob emotionale visuelle Geschichten zu meinen Tracks oder jahrelange Erfahrung als Inhaber einer Werbeagentur mit der Produktion von Imagefilmen – das Erzählen mit Bildern und Sound liegt mir im Blut. „The Dark“ ist ein weiterer Schritt in diese Richtung: weg von reiner Werbung, hin zu einer freien, dunklen, persönlichen künstlerischen Arbeit.Ein Kurzfilm für alle, die Stille zwischen den Tönen schätzen und sich gerne in düstere, immersive Welten ziehen lassen.
